Norman Jaffee designed Montauk oceanfront home. Built in 1975 with many of the original furnishings and built ins. Set on a dune promontory with panoramic scan of the Atlantic Ocean. House is shaped to merge into the coastal bluffs, Jaffe created a dominating roof like the wingspread of a great bird. Triangular deck. 24’ foot high living-dining room, 3 steps down to a snug fireplace nook. Cedar walls and ceilings inside. Important note re shooting on the beach.
