"Sommariva" was built in 1872 by C.P.B. Jeffreys on the shores of East Hampton's Hook Pond, said to be East Hampton's first summer home built especially for that purpose.  Once owned by Philip  Barry, the playwright.  Great porches and beautiful grounds.  There are no fences marking owner's property.  Must be respectful of neighbor's when shooting and stay on the grounds shown in these photos.
