Old World and Elegant Long Island Mansion location 25 miles from NYC. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this is the former home of John S. Phipps. Completed in 1906 by the English Designer George A. Crawley, it is a magnificent Charles II-style mansion nestled amid 200 acres of formal gardens, landscaped grounds, woodlands, ponds and lakes.
Shoot Information. This location does not hold dates, first come first serve basis. It is a 9 am to 5 pm location. Anything before or after these hours is considered overtime. Only Interior options are shown here and MUST be optioned separately from exteriors. Interior rooms available are: Red Ballroom (has red/pink covered walls), Lower Foyer (shows large fireplace and base of grand wood staircase), 2nd Floor Foyer (shows white walls and wood floor), West Porch/Sun Room (shows floral sofas in porch setting.) Furniture may not be moved or sat on.
Greenhouse also MUST be optioned separately. Open to the public every day except Tuesday. Motor home is mandatory. Shooting permitted daily from January to April and on Tuesdays only from May to December.
